Townsville City Council Seeks CCTV And Gallagher – Townsville City Council has gone to tender seeking qualified security contractors to provide CCTV and Gallagher access control services across council facilities.
The tender covers the supply, installation and ongoing maintenance of council’s CCTV and electronic access control infrastructure, including scheduled maintenance, reactive repairs and new installations.
The CCTV component includes maintenance and corrective works as well as the installation of new surveillance equipment, while access control services will be delivered on a Gallagher platform.

The successful supplier or suppliers will undertake scheduled maintenance and corrective repairs to access control infrastructure as well as installation works required across council facilities. The contract is intended to provide ongoing technical support for both systems and ensure installations and maintenance meet council operational requirements and relevant industry standards.
A supplier briefing will be held at the Townsville City Council Local Disaster Coordination Centre, 113-123 Dalrymple Road, Garbutt, at 1pm on Thursday 13 August 2026 – that’s soon.
