QBUILD has gone to tender seeking VESDA fire detection solutions N12 and N17 for the Woodford Correctional Centre.
Woodford Correctional Centre is a high security Australian prison facility located 80 kilometres north from Brisbane and 30 kilometres from Caboolture housing 988 male prisoners. Woodford is the largest prison in Queensland.
Woodford Correctional Centre has a large industries base with 15 workshops that include manufacturing of furniture, steel products, upholstery, polyethylene rainwater tanks and steel rainwater tanks.
