NEW from CBC is the ZR-DHC series of DVRs, which offer all
the features you’d expect at this level including 16-inputs, MPEG-4
compression, pentaplex operation, a global frame rate of 400 images per second
and an integrated DVD/CD RW drive.
You can choose recording rates of 4CIF, 2CIF and CIF and
onboard storage capacity is 3.5TB with up to 11.5TB possible externally. There
are flexible recording options that allow you to set recording type in any
combination of continuous, motion, object watch, alarm and pre-alarm modes.
A special feature of these ZR-DHC series DVRs is remote
management using GMS client software and browser. This management software
supports multiple server connections for up to 20 sites and live views of 64
channels in a single screen – more than you’d ever be likely to need.
The management system supports up to 4 monitors and the
software gives full control of all DVR settings. There’s 2-way audio, multiple
display configuration, event monitor/emergency monitor, e-map with live camera
upgrade and remote software upgrade.
You can monitor by emergency monitor, event pop-up and email
notification. Meanwhile, advanced search options include Timeline, event log,
object and PoS. Search display can be multiple channels, sequence and thumbnail
and you can backup to SFX, AVI, BMP and JPEG.
Other features include a live screen system log for viewing system
details while monitoring live video streams, zone masking both live and
playback, and advanced motion detection setup in 5 different time zones in a
24-hour period.
There’s also password expiry, an auto data delete that drops
data after a set time, event data protection that retains it regardless of
overwrite, instant backup of live screens and instant playback of a single
channel in live screen mode. With PoS support of data transmitted from cash
machines, data is stored in the DVR and can be called up in the process of
search and playback.
The ZR-DHC also has auto system shutdown by UPS command,
with the DVR shutting down automatically before the UPS’ battery fails in order
to secure proper system configuration and data files.
If you need very large volumes of storage you can use 4
ZRA-ES2 units which combine with the onboard storage to give a total of 11.5TB.
Another good feature of this unit include a software developers kit that allows
integration with other management software including access control systems,
