Bundaberg Regional Council Seeks CCTV Services.
Bundaberg Regional Council Seeks CCTV – Bundaberg Regional Council has floated a future tender seeking supply of CCTV services to support its network of 545 CCTV cameras.
Council doesn’t specify the services required but it’s likely service, maintenance, camera replacement and expansion as required, and everything that goes along with that.
Council CCTV cameras are installed in the Bundaberg CBD and surrounding region to ensure the security and safety of council staff and assets. To also reduce anti-social behaviour at selected hotspots, improve the ability for the Queensland Police Service to respond to incidents and access footage and to reduce incidents of crime on our local community, visitors, and businesses.
The Bundaberg Region is a local government area centred in Bundaberg and covering the Wide Bay–Burnett region of Queensland, Australia, about 360 kilometres north of Brisbane. With an operating budget of close to $A100 million annually, it supports a population of 100,000.
Installers and integrators interested in this tender should note that documents are not yet released on council’s buyer’s portal – you’ll need to keep an eye on the portal – the estimated release date is April 15.
