Dataline Visual Link Wins Fremantle Hospital CCTV – South Metropolitan Health Service has awarded a contract for the replacement of security CCTV infrastructure at Fremantle Hospital to Dataline Visual Link.
The tender includes the upgrade of an existing surveillance environment comprising 113 cameras distributed across the hospital site. The legacy system was recorded across 5 Honeywell EBI/DVM archive machines and managed from a central control room.
The project scope focused on replacing the recording and management platform with a current-generation system, alongside upgrades to the central control room hardware and layout. Additional works included the upgrade of existing encoders and the potential deployment of 15 new IP cameras.
South Metropolitan Health Service is responsible for the delivery of public healthcare services across Perth’s southern metropolitan region, with Fremantle Hospital forming part of its network of facilities.
