DGS Security Tender Released For Alarm Monitoring Response.
Victoria’s Department of Government Services has floated a future tender seeking security services for multiple agencies across the state.
The Department of Government Services was established on 1 January 2023 to improve the experience of doing business and interacting with Victorian government. This centralisation makes DGS a monster client.
The Department of Government Services (DGS) will release an RFT for the provision of Security Services across over 150 Victorian Government departments, agencies, and entities on December 11.
The outcome of this tender will be a refreshed supplier panel under the State’s Security Services State Purchase Contract (SPC) and the scope of the RFT includes:
- Static guarding
- Mobile patrols
- Alarm monitoring
- Alarm response
- Mail scanning.
The RFT will be released publicly on the Buying for Victoria website. Offers must be submitted at www.tenders.vic.gov.au and lodgement of offers by any other electronic method will not be accepted. Organisations wishing to participate in this opportunity must register on the Buying for Victoria Supplier Portal.
