An installation by integrator Intercon Security will replace existing control panels at 1,149 branches of an unnamed Canadian bank with DMP XR500E panels that use 128-bit encryption to transmit through Inernet protocol routing to the central station. The project, currently in progress, will also combine ULC-rated cault and safe protection with access control and networked video, as well as the banks’ automated banking machines (known as ATMs in the U.S.).
