Geutebruck Adds Thermal Cameras To G-Cam Range

Geutebruck’s new professional IP thermal cameras are designed for unobtrusive video surveillance or video motion detection in total darkness, mist or smoke.

With lenses ranging from 7.5 mm to 35 mm, horizontal fields of view from 40-degrees to 9-degrees, and frame rates from 9-30 fps, the new G-Cam/PTHC camera series includes an ideal model for increasing accuracy and reliability in your video analytics-based system as well as one for providing very early intruder detection by revealing people at up to 1450m and vehicles at up to 3400m.

All variants use uncooled VOx microbolometer image capture with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Their special image contrast enhancement feature ensures razor sharp b/w pictures with excellent contrast, while the Geutebruck specialist security H264CCTV compression format delivers video with smooth fluid motion in all speeds and replay modes – without jumps, jerks or other evidential gaps.  All facilitate easy installation with IEEE.3af compliant PoE and are ONVIF compatible.

“The new G-CAM/PTHC camera range enables us to include thermal imaging within the single source solutions which we offer our partners and customers,” says Jan Schwager, Geutebruck’s product strategy and support manager.

“Being fully compatible with the Geutebruck system world makes these cameras ideal partners for our G-Tect/VMX video analysis, and the perfect interplay between the two results in exceptional detection accuracy with significantly reduced material and installation costs.”
