i-PRO Growing Fast After Detaching From Panasonic.

CCTV manufacturer i-PRO, distributed locally by BGW Technologies, is growing fast after detaching from Panasonic, releasing 100 new AI camera models and achieving double-digit growth.

Panasonic began building facial recognition, video analytics and predictive analysis tools, into i-PRO cameras prior to the spin-off of i-PRO. Post spin-off i-PRO’s open technology policy has helped to create an enabling environment for AI adoption and growth, as well as enhancing the i-PRO EZ-2 Partner Portal.

Along with democratising AI, a key strategy employed by i-PRO is time-based competition, which has led to an expansion of its manufacturing facilities in Japan located near the company Fukuoka R&D centre.

Vital to its recent growth, the i-PRO team has been able to rapidly build key partnerships with trusted VMS vendors, AI analytics vendors and integrators since spinning out of Panasonic.

“We are all proud to be here and are encouraged to see that being bold, flexible, and building trust, is delivering positive results,” i-PRO Americas president Bill Brennan said recently.

“We’re here for our customers and for our partners, we thank them for their trust and collaboration and look forward to welcoming new partners and people as we work together to drive AI forward,”

As part of recent growth, i-PRO has opened a corporate office and warehouse facility in Houston, a state-of-the-art experience centre in Toronto, Canada, and 3 new locations in Japan.
