Logan Hospital Security Tender – John Holland, on behalf of the Queensland Government, is seeking security for Logan Hospital.
John Holland is under a managing contract to perform the design, construction, commissioning, and completion of the Logan Hospital Expansion Stage 2 – Building 4 (LHES2), with design development activities taking place until approximately mid-2024 before JH submits a final offer to HCD to commence the construction works.

As part of the process, expressions of interest are invited for ICT, security, fire and services from respective trade contractors and suppliers. The scope of works supply and installation, including trenching and reinstatement, of all require inground trade services.
Logan Hospital Expansion Stage 2, new Building 4 will deliver new front of house (FoH) services (including shell space for future expansion), 112 in-patient beds, 10 operating theatres (net increase of 2), with clinical shell space (4 additional theatres), and 6 endoscopy rooms, including ensuite associated with negative pressure isolation recovery room (net increase of 3).
There will also be a centralised sterilisation services department (CSSD), 3 catheterisation laboratories (including 1 interventional radiology laboratory), an expanded pharmacy, an expansion of administration spaces supporting clinical areas in Building 4, a new loading dock and an undercroft space for future kitchen and associated plant.
