DAHUA Technology distributor, LSC Security Supplies reports members of the team were thrilled to be invited to Dahua’s headquarters and factory in Hangzhou, China, earlier this month.
“The economies-of-scale at play with a global company like Dahua are hard to comprehend until you see it in action,” said LSC product manager, Scott Leonard.
The trip provided a welcome chance for the LSC team to discuss the modifications required to bring 2 speciality products to Australian shores.
“Within a few hours of meeting, the product design team returned with a working prototype, with all modifications in place to suit Australian standards and regulations – a process that would normally take weeks or even months,” said Leonard.
Leonard was tight-lipped as to the specifics of their joint venture but hinted that integrators could expect to get their hands on these customised products in the second quarter of 2018.
The group was also invited to visit the China Public Security Expo (CPSE), the world’s largest security exhibition, as guests of Dahua. Held at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Centre, the CPSE brings together the over 9500 security companies and over 650,000 consumers.
The tour rounded off what has been a bumper year for LSC, having secured several high-profile distributorships in the past 12 months including HID Global, AMC and Dahua Technology.
