New Paramaxx Multi-Point Deadbolt – ASSA ABLOY company Securitech has released Paramaxx, a multipoint deadbolt access control solution engineered to support secure entry during the day and rapid lockdown during emergencies or at close of business.
The Paramaxx system enables remote locking of up to 100 doors via push-button, transmitter, or scheduled lockdown, delivering security while maintaining user convenience and code compliance.
Paramaxx features a 130 mm stainless-steel housing with factory pre-installed 5-point locks, stainless-steel deadbolts, and a vandal-resistant slip clutch to resist physical attacks. The system mounts directly to the door’s surface, allowing for straightforward installation with reduced labour requirements. The internal shutter enhances tamper resistance, while compatibility with standard mortise cylinders enables custom configuration for specific operational needs.
Designed for commercial and institutional facilities where controlled access and emergency lockdown capabilities are critical, Paramaxx integrates with common access control components, including request-to-exit and bolt or door position switches. Free-spinning bolts on the hinge side increase resistance to forced entry, while an electronic 24V DC release ensures reliable function within integrated security systems.
In addition to offering enhanced resistance to intrusion, Paramaxx supports free exit functionality during normal operations, meeting safety and egress regulations. The dead latching mechanism secures the mortise latch in regular use, and a bolt status indicator supports real-time system monitoring.
