University of Melbourne Seeks Security – University of Melbourne has released a tender seeking proposals for delivery of security services across multiple metropolitan and regional sites.
The expression of interest asks service providers to submit proposals for alarm monitoring and response, manned guarding, site patrols, crowd control for events, and other ad hoc security functions.
Through this RFP process, the university said it aims to identify suppliers capable of meeting service delivery expectations while demonstrating a commitment to ongoing improvement, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.
The selected provider will be expected to contribute to productivity and quality gains over the term of the agreement in collaboration with the university.
Submissions are to be made via the university’s Workday platform, with all queries and communication also directed through this channel.
The University of Melbourne has a significant footprint, with a central campus in Parkville and additional campuses located at Burnley, Southbank, Werribee, Creswick, Dookie, and Shepparton. It serves 54,000 students and employs approximately 5300 staff.
The breadth of its operations and its diverse campus environments will require a service provider capable of managing complex and varied security requirements across Victoria.
