TP-Link VIGI Solar 4G PT Camera Combines Solar, Battery, Charger, Bracket.

TP-Link VIGI Solar 4G PTZ – TP-Link’s VIGI SP9030 solar 4G CCTV system combines a 90W solar panel, a 30Ah lithium battery with heater, an adjustable mounting bracket, an MPPT charge controller and a VIGI C540-4G 4MP outdoor colour 4G pan/tilt network camera with a 4mm fixed lens.

The system is IP66-rated for dust and water resistance, while the mount is adjustable to 5/15/25/35/45 and 55-degree angles. Overall dimensions are 998mm long x 516mm wide, while total weight is 15kg and operating temperature is -30 to 60C.

The camera in this equation is a TP-Link VIGI C540-4G 4MP outdoor colour 4G pan tilt with a 4mm fixed lens and support for 256GB storage onboard.

Analytics offers human and vehicle classification that distinguishes humans and vehicles from other objects. Meanwhile smart detection notifies users of events like area intrusion and line-crossing and the camera automatically tracks persons or vehicles of interest.

The camera can warn potential intruders instantly with sound and light when abnormal events occur, while 2-way audio with voice intercom support facilitates 2-way conversations while watching video feeds.

The camera uses H.265+ compression to save storage space and network bandwidth, while remote management allows users to manage their system from anywhere using the VIGI app on a mobile device, or a PC client.

U-Prox 4800-Metre Wireless Alarm At SecTech!

U-Prox 4800-Metre Wireless Alarm – SEN took a look at the U-Prox 4800-metre wireless alarm system at SecTech Adelaide and we liked what we saw (you can see it this week Sydney and Brisbane – pre-register here).

U-PROX MPX is the hub of the system. According to U-Prox, MPX is a new generation of wireless security centres, featuring a powerful processor that integrates functions into a capable desktop modem featuring enhanced memory, photo verification, home automation and LTE comms.

The sensor suite is comprehensive, with PIR cameras, external and internal sensors, reed switches, smoke sensors, multiple code pads, and internal and external sirens.

MPX supports 250 users, 250 security control keys or alarm buttons – each user can have a keypad code, a ‘forced’ code, or users can control the system with the U-Prox Home mobile application.

Optex Virtual Loop Released At SecTech Roadshow.

Optex virtual loop released – Something the SEN team liked the look of at SecTech was the Optex Virtual Loop OVS-02GT, which is a microwave FMCW detector designed for sites where ground loops can’t be installed.

The OVS-02GT detects the presence of a small or large stationary or moving vehicles within 8 metres of the sensor while ignoring human traffic. Best of all, this sensor is easy to install. Unlike ground loops, no civil works are required, and the weatherproof device is mounted 500 mm from the ground.

Operationally, the OVS-02GT connects to an automatic barrier, slide gate, swing gate and industrial door. All setup is done by smartphone app, which ships in default for barrier, slide and swing gates and can be modified for applications with regard to calibration and sensor status.

You can learn more about the Optex VL here or read more SEN news here.
