Quanergy M8 LiDAR From EOS – Quanergy M8 high-performance LiDAR sensor provides 3D perception using multiple eye-safe laser beams and time-of-flight (TOF) measurement technology.
LiDAR can automate and enhance video-based security systems by integrating with multiple video management systems and using rich 3D object data. The sensors allow security experts to rapidly locate and track any potential security threats, and easy automation of other security resources is made possible by the out-of-the-box integration.

According to EOS, with Quanergy integrating with Hanwha’s Wisenet WAVE VMS, customers have access to advanced sensing capabilities to extend the coverage, dramatically reduce false alarm rates and reduce the operational cost of physical security deployments.
The 3D volumetric sensing provided by Quanergy’s M series sensors enables Hanwha customers to visualize spaces with depth perception and provide extremely accurate object tracking of alarm events. This means event-to-action outcomes can be configured and visualized for automation, security or business intelligence. In addition, the M8 LiDAR sensor can trigger actions based on real-time scenario analysis powered by Quanergy Quortex.
