HID AI Access Kiosks – HID and Olea Kiosks have announced a new collaborative engagement that simplifies the user experience of access control and user authentication.
The solution combines HID’s U.ARE.U Camera Identification System facial recognition technology (FRT) – and Olea HYPERMODULAR Kiosk to provide customizable ID authentication and verification.
According to HID, its FRT technology is fast and accurate, easy to use, secure, convenient, requires no dedicated staff to manage, and is contactless, making it hygienic.
HID U.ARE.U Camera Identification System has a top NIST Ranking for matching performance and accuracy, is ethically trained with AI to reduce matching bias, can handle difficult environments, resists spoofing attacks, features on-device biometric processing and is easy to configure.

Olea developed its HYPERMODULAR kiosk in response to market demands for flexible, customizable kiosks for the security and access control space. In addition to housing HID’s leading facial recognition camera, Olea’s kiosk design can also accommodate fingerprint scanners, barcode scanners, ticket and ID document readers, RFID readers, card printers, and other HID offerings within its HYPERMODULAR footprint.
