Barkers Partners With Australian Security Fencing – Barkers Fencing has announced a manufacturing under license agreement with Australian Security Fencing (ASF).
Under the terms of the agreement, Barkers’ crash-rated mesh fence, SecureGuard RCS, will be exclusively manufactured and sold in Australia by ASF.
“This partnership will increase the availability of Barker’s innovative hostile and accidental vehicle mitigation products, SecureGuard RCS and StronGuard RCS, in the Australian market,” said Jace Rosier, ASF general manager.
“ASF is excited to formalise the relationship with Barkers and the agreement will benefit local markets through shorter lead times, lower project delivery risk, local representation and same time zone communications.”

SecureGuard RCS is a mesh fencing system rated to stop up to vehicles of up to 7500kg, while SecureGuard RCS is an entirely unique mesh fencing system that is rated to stop up to a 7500kg vehicle from crashing through at 48 kph. The PAS68 rating is achieved using Barkers’ RCS design without the need for secondary wire rope fences, barriers, or bollards.
Both SecureGuard RCS and the original palisade version, StronGuard RCS are designed to be easier to install than alternative wire rope or bollard solutions, as the foundations are conventionally sized and require no steel reinforcement cages. The result is that the client’s program is achieved more easily, and costs are minimised.
