SCEC-Approved S&G 2740B Electromechanical Lock From LSC.

SCEC-Approved S&G 2740B Electromechanical Lock – SCEC-approved S&G 2740B is an electromechanical lock built by Sargent and Greenleaf.

Designed specifically for securing SCEC-approved containers, the 2740B combines advanced engineering, ease of use, and robust durability to deliver unmatched protection.

This lock features a user-friendly left-right-left dialling system paired with direct-dial technology, allowing quick and precise access without counting turns. With a sleek Spy-Proof dial that conceals numbers, the 2740B enhances security by limiting visibility to only the operator.

Installation of the S&G 2740B is straightforward and compatible with existing systems. Utilising S&G’s Magic Module footprint, it easily fits standard container dimensions and requires no complex mounting or bolt-work modifications, making retrofits hassle-free. The lock also includes a change key for simple reprogramming of combinations.

The 2740B supports both single and dual-user operation modes, giving organisations flexible access control. Powered by an internal, long-life lithium battery, the lock is reliable and maintenance-light, with up to 14 years of power. Sargent and Greenleaf backs this model with a 5-year warranty.
