Genetec Security Center SaaS Adds Intelligent Automation – Genetec has introduced new intelligent automation-powered investigation features in its Security Center SaaS platform, designed to reduce the time required to locate and interpret video evidence.
Designed for multi-vendor deployments, the system makes use of metadata from a wide range of supported hardware, and the update enables operators to search using natural language and contextual filters.
This streamlines review and evidence export processes, allowing operators to initiate person, vehicle, or object searches directly from the video player.
Operationally, search results are enhanced by automated context, such as nearby activity, entry and exit timestamps, as well as by lookalike identification across multiple camera views.
According to Genetec senior product group director, Jonathan Doyon, the system is designed to support faster and more intuitive incident analysis.
“Our new intelligent search gives investigation teams a faster, more intuitive way to find relevant evidence, piece together timelines, and securely share results, all from a single, unified interface,” Doyon said.
