Hills has signed a new distribution agreement with Dell Australia that the company says strengthens its IT portfolio.

Hills offer Dell’s server, storage and networking portfolio to its extensive system integrator and channel partner customer base. Dell’s heritage in unwavering commitment to the customer makes them a great fit within the Hills’ vendor ecosystem.

“Hills is delighted to announce the continued distribution partnership with Dell,”said Anand Joseph, IT group manager. “Hills has been standardising on Dell platforms as part of a holistic surveillance offering for a considerable time. This partnership strengthens our relationship with DELL and recognises the proficiency the Hills’ sales and technical teams have developed around Dell over the years.”

“Dell’s various product lines provide a compelling offering that is highly complementary to converging Hills surveillance and physical access control portfolios,” Anand said. “Convergence not only requires IT infrastructure as the building blocks to facilitate this transition, but the need to account for data security too. Dell’s end-to-end offerings enables us to leverage a single technology partner for multiple elements of the ecosystem.”

Geoff Wright, Dell’s General Manager of Channels and Alliances ANZ agreed.

“Channel continues to be a growing opportunity for Dell and it means our customers receive even greater choice as to how they access Dell solutions. The continued partnership with Hills gives us the opportunity to amplify our reach across Australia.” ♦
