CSD Distributing HiLook CCTV Range

CSD has announced the release of the entry-level HiLook IP CCTV range, manufactured by Hikvision.

According to CSD’s senior director – products & marketing ANZ, Mark Edwards, traditionally entry-level products have not been available through Hikvision’s national distribution network, however, he said times have changed, thanks to Hikvision’s feature-rich, high-resolution, high-quality Hikvision range with its suite of onboard analytics.

“HiLook by Hikvision meets an opening in the market for a cost effective, entry-level, simple to use and easy to install CCTV product range that does not require the widest range of features – it’s this market Hikvision is addressing by selecting CSD as its distribution partner for the HiLook range,” Edwards said.

“This is a great opportunity for CSD – historically, we have positioned ourselves to provide the professional Hikvision product range to installers looking for quality at the medium price point and we did not venture into the entry-level market.

“However, the recent technology leap by Hikvision, which sees all its CCTV products delivered with a full complement of analytics, has created an opportunity in applications where all that’s required is a 4-16 camera system delivering good quality images with basic analytics at cost-effective prices.

“With HiLook, CSD has a branded product to approach the entry level market and can provide a quality solution, without the frills, at very competitive prices,” Edwards said.

“And with CSD’s 9 locations around Australia and team of 25 technical support personnel across ANZ providing essential support services from 6.30am to 7.30pm EDST, CSD is the best option for Hikvision.”
