Watson Appointed DAS’ Milestone BDM – DAS has appointed Shaun Watson as its Milestone business development manager.

Watson has worked in the security industry for the last 17 years in roles from counter sales, business development, national sales management, and channel management.

“I was working in cloud cyber security during the transition from Hills to DAS and immediately saw this as a great opportunity to be part of the bridge between our traditional Security and IT/cloud solution,” Watson said.

“When I saw the role for Milestone BDM, I jumped at the opportunity to be part of team and the vision for the future. With a technology moving forward faster than we can install it, we need to be thinking ahead and aiming for new solutions that tie all our technologies together.

“A simple way to do this is to transition a common product like a video management system into a cloud solution with hybrid recording solutions utilising cloud storage or full-blown servers on Azure, AWS or other cloud computing services. I’m excited to see where DAS will take the Milestone platform.”
