AXIS A1210-B Network Door Controller – Axis Communications AXIS A1210-B network door controllers are optimized for small and large installations requiring intelligence on the edge.
AXIS A1210-B network door controller is a stackable, barebone PoE model ideal for installation in small spaces such as existing or newly installed cabinets. Suitable for installation anywhere, this compact, competitively priced unit offers fast and easy installation on walls and built-in cybersecurity features.
Capable of storing up to 250,000 credentials and 250,000 event logs per unit, AXIS A1210-B ensures flexible and secure authentication using various credentials such as PIN codes and dynamic QR codes for visitor access and license plates verification for vehicle access.
AXIS A1210-B has 1 NO/NC relay, a digital I/O, supports up to 2 OSDP readers by multi-drop with secure OSDP channel support, and 1 Weigand reader per controller.
There are 4 alarm inputs and 2 alarm outputs, lock power is 12/24V DC jumper configurable, while reader power is 12V DC with a 500mA maximum from a total power budget of 2100mA. There’s a supervised external tamper input, a supervised alarm input and programmable EoLs.

An Open API allows software integration, including VAPIX, metadata and AXIS Camera Application Platform (ACAP), there’s 1-click cloud connection and compatibility with AXIS Camera Station.
Cybersecurity functions and features include signed firmware, brute force delay protection, digest authentication, password protection, Axis Edge Vault cybersecurity platform, secure element (CC EAL 6+), secure keystore, secure boot, network security is IEEE 802.1X (EAP-TLS)c, IEEE 802.1AR, HTTPS/HSTSc, TLSv1.2/v1.3c, Network Time Security (NTS), X.509 Certificate PKI and IP address filtering.
The controller is built around a white cast aluminium housing, weigh 425g and can be cabinet, DIN rail or stack mounted. There are shielded RJ45 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T PoE connectors for networking, terminal blocks for DC power, inputs/outputs, RS485/Wiegand and relay.
