ASIS ACT GOVERNMENT SECURITY TRAINING
Training Venue:
Training will take place at the Realm Hotel, located at 18 National Circuit, Barton, Canberra, coinciding with the Security & Government Expo. Please note that this training is exclusively available to government employees.
Training Schedule:
The training program is scheduled to run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, allowing participants to attend the keynote speaker session.
Who Should Attend:
This 1-day training program is designed for individuals in the following roles:
- Agency Security Advisers and their teams
- Chief Security Officers
- Security Officers
- Personnel responsible for day-to-day operations and oversight of Zone 3, 4, 5, and SCIFs.
Training Modules:
The training will be divided into four comprehensive sections:
- Security Risk Masterclass – Key Concepts
- Building SCEC Zones and Accreditation for EMSEC
- Class 5 and Type 1A SAS – Auditing and Compliance
- A Physical Approach to Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM).

After SAGE, the annual ASIS ACT Dinner is the perfect opportunity for SAGE attendees to network with government security people in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
PARKING
Parking is available within the Realm Precinct for event guests. Realm Precinct has over 800 car spaces located across Hotel Realm, Burbury Close, 9 & 3 Sydney Avenue and Little National Hotel. Parking is complimentary at the Hotel Realm for the first 60 mins.
Wilson Parking offers free parking from 4.30 pm – 3 am. Please note these are public carparks, and space cannot be guaranteed, and rates vary across car parks.
