ASIAL Awards OSPAs Judging – Judging for the ASIAL Awards for Excellence and OSPAs has been completed, with the awards night to be held at Park Hyatt Melbourne on October 19.
ASIAL Awards for Excellence include Electronic Security Installation Over 100,000, Electronic Security Installation Under 100,000, Gender Diversity, Indigenous Employment, Individual Achievement Protective Services, Individual Achievement Technical Security, Integrated Security Solution over 100,000, Integrated Security Solution Under 100,000, Product of the Year Access Control, Product of the Year Alarms, Product of the Year CCTV Camera, Product of the Year IP Solutions, Product of the Year Physical Security, Security Equipment Manufacturer/Distributor, Unsung Hero Protective Services, Unsung Hero Electronics.
According to John Fleming, judges found the decision making as challenging as ever, with plenty of excellent entries for every category and a profusion of technologies and applications in some segments that made things hard for the judges trying to compare them.

The OSPAs are always hardest to judge, with loads of entries filled with granular detail in every category, each person bringing a unique version of excellence to their role.
OSPAs ategories included Outstanding Contract Security Manager, Outstanding Female Security Professional, Outstanding Inhouse Security Manager, Outstanding Security Consultant, Outstanding Security Partnership, Outstanding Security Team and Outstanding Training Initiative.
