CAIRNS Regional Council seeks upgrades to Gallagher and Tecom access control and intrusion detection solutions, as well as the installation of video intercoms as part of a plan to improve security at Council’s main depots.
As part of the upgrade to motion detection and access control solution, modifications are planned for Stratford Depot, Martyn Street Depot and Gordonvale Depot. A summary of the major works to be completed at each site are:
Stratford Depot
* Expansion of the Gallagher security and access control system
* Installation of a sliding gate, boom gate and fencing modifications
* Installation of new video intercom hardware and software
* Installation of additional fibre optic cable and communication racks.
Martyn Street Depot
* Expansion of the Gallagher security and access control system
* Modifications to the existing Tecom Challenger security system
* Installation of sliding gate, boom gate and fencing modifications
* Installation of new video intercom hardware and software.
Gordonvale Depot
* Expansion of the Gallagher security and access control system
* Installation of a boom gate
* Installation of new video intercom hardware and software.
The tender closes on December 19, 2017.
