Unitree Robotics’ advanced G1 Humanoid agent AI Avatar is available in multiple versions, each designed for specific applications. The series includes the G1 Basic, G1 EDU Standard, G1 EDU Plus, G1 EDU Smart, and the G1 EDU Ultimate.
Computational capability is built around an 8-core high-performance CPU, supported by integrated depth camera and 3D LiDAR sensors for environmental perception. Connectivity includes WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. A smart, quick-release battery powers the unit, enabling approximately 2 hours of operation per charge. Audio capabilities include a stereo speaker system rated at 5W and a microphone array featuring noise and echo cancellation.
All models share a compact physical form, standing 1320mm tall, 450mm wide, and 200mm thick when upright. Folded dimensions reduce height to 690mm while slightly increasing thickness to 300mm. Each unit weighs approximately 35kg, inclusive of the battery.
The humanoid structure integrates 23 degrees of freedom (DOF) via joint motors, including 6 per leg, 1 at the waist, and 5 per arm. Advanced versions offer additional wrist and hand functionality, with optional dexterous hands featuring up to 7 DOF.
Knee joints deliver a maximum torque of 90N.m as standard, increasing to 120Nm in the higher-end versions. Arm payload capacity is 2kg standard, rising to 3kg in advanced models. Limb proportions include a combined calf and thigh length of 0.6m and an arm span of approximately 0.45m.
Joint articulation is extensive, with lumbar joints moving ±155°, knee joints extending up to 165 degrees, and hips providing pitch ±154 degrees, roll -30 degrees to +170 degrees, and yaw ±158 degrees. Internal alignment is hollow throughout all joints, enhancing reliability and performance, coupled with a localized air-cooled heat dissipation system. A dual-encoder setup ensures accurate joint positioning.
Additional features in higher-level models include enhanced development capabilities, providing extensive technical support, complete development manuals, and ecological support for secondary development. The EDU Smart and Ultimate versions integrate a docking station that offers 100 TOPS of computing power, complete with advanced AI algorithms and robust technical assistance.
The EDU Ultimate version notably features the most advanced configuration, incorporating dual Dex3-1 force-controlled, 3-finger dexterous hands, each equipped with multi-touch array sensors, increasing total DOF to 43.
