ES2 Security Wins PTA CCTV – Melbourne-based ES2 Security has a won a contract worth more than $A3 million to provide the Public Transport Authority of Western Australia with CCTV storage.
PTA’s CCTV system provides enhanced security for the traveling public and supports PTA operational activities. With the expansion of the rail and bus network for the Public Transport Authority (PTA) and the resulting increase in CCTV cameras, additional storage and server capacity is needed to meet the requirement of storing CCTV footage.
Western Australia’s Public Transport Authority is the primary supplier of public transport services in Western Australia, including rail, bus and ferry services in the metropolitan area (Transperth), public transport services in regional centres (TransRegional), and coach and rail passenger services to regional areas (Transwa).
PTA is also responsible for school bus services, designing, building and maintaining transport infrastructure and protecting the long-term viability of the state’s freight rail corridor and infrastructure.
