ISCS Bringing Edge Video, Vehicle Access, Mobile Credentials To SecTech Roadshow 2026.
ISCS Bringing Edge Video, Vehicle Access, Mobile Credentials To SecTech – ISCS is heading to SecTech Roadshow 2026 with a tight mix of practical, deployable technologies — edge-based video, long-range vehicle access and modern credentialing — all aimed at reducing infrastructure while improving day-to-day operation.
On the video side, Milesight’s OpenVision cameras fold the traditional VMS stack into the device. With Network Optix Nx Witness running onboard, there’s no need for a separate server or NVR. Installers get live view, playback and system management straight out of the camera, with automatic connection to Nx Cloud for remote access and multi-site management. Storage can sit locally or in the cloud, including Wasabi, but the key point is simple deployment — fewer boxes, less configuration, and a system that comes up fast and stays manageable. Well worth a look!
For vehicle access, ISCS is showing the Nedap uPASS Go, a long-range UHF RFID reader designed for hands-free entry at gates and parking facilities. It reads passive tags at up to 10 metres, removing the need for batteries and ongoing maintenance. Integration is straightforward — Wiegand, OSDP secure channel and TCP/IP are all supported — so it will drop into most access control environments. Circular polarisation means drivers don’t need to present tags precisely, which matters in high-throughput sites. It’s built for outdoor use and positioned as the next step on from legacy long-range readers. Nedap is a great product and low touch vehicle access is great functionality.
On the credentials side, HID’s Signo platform and Mobile Access push further into phone-based entry. Signo readers support multiple technologies, including mobile, smart cards, Bluetooth, NFC and legacy formats. This makes them a clean upgrade path rather. With HID Mobile Access, credentials can be issued and revoked remotely, cutting admin overhead and tightening control across distributed sites. Security is stronger too, with encrypted communication and support for modern credential standards aimed at reducing cloning risk.
SecTech Roadshow 2026 opens in Brisbane on May 12, heads to Sydney on May 14, Melbourne on May 19, Adelaide on May 21 and Perth on May 26. Brisbane is up first — this coming Tuesday – only 4 days to go.
