The extensive
FLIR range of thermal imagers ranges from the handheld H-Series favoured by
security professionals and police through to the VSR-6 for users who require
short-range security and surveillance.
The VSR-6
includes FLIR’s advanced image processing techniques which deliver excellent
contrast regardless of scene dynamics. Unlike other night vision systems that
need low amounts of light to generate an image, the VSR-6 needs no light at
all.
The FLIR D-Series
outdoor dome enclosure provides precision pan/tilt control while providing
fully programmable scan patterns, radar slew-to-cue, and slew-to-alarm
functionality. Fully enabled for control and operation over IP and serial
networks, D-Series systems deploy a 320 × 240 thermal imager along with a
day/night 36× zoom color CCD camera.
The F-Series
thermal imaging cameras are available in 160 × 120, 320 × 240, and
high-resolution 640 × 480 formats, providing up to sixteen times the image
clarity and longer threat detection range performance than lower resolution
cameras. Meanwhile, the PT-Series precision pan/tilt mechanism gives operators
accurate pointing control while providing fully programmable scan patterns,
radar slew-to-cue, and slew-to-alarm functionality.
The S-R Series is
packaged for users who have mid-range security and surveillance as their
primary application. The PTZ-35×140 MS and SR-35×140 MS are especially
developed for security applications. They are powerful, multi-sensor,
mid-range, thermal imaging systems. They feature two thermal imaging cameras
and one daylight/low light camera.
One thermal
imager has a wide angle field-of-view and is ideal for situational awareness.
The other with the narrow field-of-view is designed for mid-range target
recognition. The PTZ-35×140 MS and SR-35×140 MS allow you to detect objects the
size of a human being more than 2km away.
