DroneShield Wins 6 Contracts Worth $A21.7 Million To Supply Counter Drone Systems To A Defence Customer.

DroneShield Wins 6 Contracts Worth $A21.7 Million – DroneShield has secured a package of 6 standalone contracts worth $21.7m for the supply of counter-drone systems to an unnamed Western military customer, via an in-country reseller.

The contracts cover dismounted counter-drone systems, spare kits and software subscriptions. All equipment is available from existing inventory, with delivery expected in Q1 2026 and payment in Q2 2026.

According to DroneShield, the reseller is a wholly owned subsidiary of a multi-billion-dollar, publicly listed global company responsible for distributing the products to the military end user. DroneShield said it has a well-established relationship with the reseller, having received 39 contracts over the past 7 years totalling more than $17.8m prior to this award.

DroneShield is a Sydney-headquartered counter-drone technology developer listed on the Australian Securities Exchange that has grown sharply over the past year, generating revenues of about $216.5 million in FY2025 and transitioning to profitability after a period of rapid expansion. The company’s global team has also scaled significantly, with around 460 employees worldwide, including a large proportion focused on hardware and software engineering for its counter-UAS solutions.

DroneShield provides a range of standalone and interoperable counter-drone capabilities designed to detect, identify and defeat small unmanned aerial threats in defence, critical infrastructure and high-security environments. Its portfolio spans RF-based detection and SensorFusionAI, electronic warfare and AI-driven identification tools, and edge-computing platforms that can be deployed on land, sea and air platforms with broad system compatibility. These systems combine proprietary machine learning and sensor fusion technologies to deliver real-time situational awareness and automated threat response without relying on external processing.
