Macquarie Park Bus Depot CCTV, Access Control, Comms Tender Released.

Macquarie Park Bus Depot CCTV, Access Control, Comms Tender – Fulton Hogan has opened an expression of interest for CCTV, access control, electrical, communications and lighting works at the Macquarie Park Bus Depot.

The package covers full design, supply and installation of integrated site services, including CCTV, access control and alarm systems, alongside communications cabling, power distribution and lighting, all delivered through to commissioning.

The project sits within Transport for NSW’s Zero Emission Buses Program and involves construction of a large-scale electric bus depot designed to support around 165 vehicles, including articulated buses.

The site will incorporate extensive charging infrastructure, maintenance and wash facilities, a multistorey staff and security building, and an underground car park for approximately 150 vehicles, along with upgraded road access and supporting civil works.

Within this footprint, the security scope will extend across multiple operational zones, including bus stabling areas, building entries, perimeter fencing and access points. It will need to integrate closely with communications networks and electrical systems.

Lighting also plays a key role, both from a safety and surveillance perspective, with site-wide illumination expected to support camera performance and safe movement across a high-traffic depot environment.

The requirement is for a coordinated, end-to-end delivery, where security, communications and electrical infrastructure are designed as a single system rather than standalone elements. This includes consideration of coverage across large open areas, reliable operation in an industrial environment, and alignment with 24/7 depot operations.

The EOI process is being used to assess market capability ahead of formal procurement, with Fulton Hogan seeking contractors experienced in delivering integrated systems across complex infrastructure projects.
