Electrical and communications infrastructure forms part of the supporting works. The contractor will design, supply, install and commission electrical and lighting services, a new distribution board and the cables and conduits connecting the jetty to DTMI's main switchboard at Barrack Square.

Other infrastructure includes water, firefighting, sullage and fuel services, new service pillars, fire hose reels and cabinets, hydrants, ladders and fire alarms. Some of these elements may have crossover with security integrator specialties and some may demand contractor partnering.

There there’s a mandatory site inspection to be be held at Barrack Square Jetty 1 at 10am on 8 September 2026. Attendance is limited to 2 representatives from each potential tenderer, with registration required by 5pm on 4 September – that’s only a couple of days away.
