New Jack Fuse IPEC Enclosure Extends Electronic Break Glass And Safety Call Points Outdoors.
New Jack Fuse IPEC Enclosure – Jack Fuse will give SAGE visitors a first look at its new IP-rated enclosure (IPEC), designed to extend the installation of its Electronic Break Glass, Safety Call Point and Lodestar products into outdoor and wet environments.
The Jack Fuse IPEC provides a protected mounting and termination arrangement for the company’s indoor electronic security peripherals. The enclosure incorporates threaded cable entries on the top, bottom and rear to accept conduit or cable glands, allowing cabling to be brought into the housing from different directions.

The IPEC wraps the existing indoor units in a sealed, IP-rated housing, so one product family covers inside and outside.

The drawing is a schematic, not the actual product: entry positions and water paths are illustrative. Jack Fuse has not published a specific IP rating in this announcement.
A water diversion channel, sealed mounting holes and lift-up cover are designed to manage moisture around the enclosure. An internal dress plate provides mounting points for Jack Fuse products while concealing cable slack, joins and terminations behind the user interface.
The large transparent cover provides a physical barrier around the Electronic Break Glass and Safety Call Point while keeping the devices visible for identification. It also helps protect against accidental activation and direct exposure to environmental conditions.
The IPEC allows the same Jack Fuse electronic peripherals to be used in applications where the original indoor mounting arrangement would not be suitable, including external locations, wash-down areas and wet industrial environments.
The enclosure is designed as an integrated mounting and cable management system rather than simply a protective cover, with the enclosure, cable entries and internal dress plate forming a single installation arrangement.
