“Long range products are the core business – including products like the i-Key which is a long range RF product for access control into premises via boom gates, roller shutters, automatic gates,” says Danger.
“This product also integrates with existing card technologies such as HID, Indala, EM and Keri proximity along with Mifare, iClass and Tecom smartcard technologies.”
Danger says that for hands-free operation, i-Trak Global has a product with a tag that can be read up to 8 meters without human intervention.
“This product has numerous applications such as vehicle access, asset tracking, patient wandering systems in nursing homes as well as managing automatic doors in hospitals and offices,” Danger says.
“The emphasis of the new business is on long-range access control products operating in the 433MHz range.”
