AXIS Communications has announced the winners of its annual Axis Channel Convergence Conference awards, held in Phuket, Thailand.
There were 13 partners were honoured at the awards across 10 categories, with Honeywell Pacific and Anixter Australia taking the top awards for Solution Partner of the year and Distributor of the Year respectively for the South Asia Pacific region.
The honourees were selected according to set criteria, which revolved around the requirement of being collaborative, whilst driving revenue.
Axis’ partnership strategy is critical to its success and through various programs and training courses, Axis supports its partners to ensure that end customers’ security installations are at the cutting edge of what’s available in the market. Working closely with partners gives Axis valuable knowledge and insight into the needs and opportunities in individual markets as well as in target end customer segments.

Distributor of the Year 2012 South Asia Pacific was Anixter Australia Pty Ltd, Best Growth Distributor of the Year 2012 South Asia Pacific was Open Platform Systems Pty Ltd. Excellence in Distribution 2012 Oceania went to LAN 1 Pty Ltd, while Excellence in Distribution 2012 Asia was taken out by D RON Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
Meanwhile, the Solution Partner of the Year 2012 South Asia Pacific went to HoneyWell Pacific Ltd, Solution Partner of the Year 2012 Oceania was won by Blake Systems. Best Growth Solution Partner of the Year 2012 Oceania went to Geutebruck Pty Ltd.
