LSC Celebrates 10th Year of National Distribution – LSC is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of its national distribution centre.
“It’s hard to believe it has been more than 10 years since orders were first dispatched from our national distribution centre” said Tom Stokes, operations manager at LSC.

According to Stokes, LSC went through a period of rapid growth during the early 2000s which quickly saw the business outgrow its existing warehouse facilities in North Melbourne. By 2010, the need for a purpose-built, modern distribution facility was more evident than ever.
“A key motivator at the time was the very real need for more warehouse space. Now, more than a decade on, I’m pleased to say that the operational and logistical benefits have far outreached our initial estimations,” Stokes said.
Today, the Brooklyn site acts as more than just a distribution centre for the 97-year-old wholesaler and distributor. It’s home to the company’s popular fob and credential programming and printing service, technical support team and TechEd training facilities.
“We’re fortunate to be one of the few distributors in this industry that have purpose-built training facilities at our disposal” said Rhys Saxon, head of product and technical service at LSC.
“It’s been a bumper year for our TechEd training team, and we’re looking forward to sharing some new courses with you all in the new year.”
