Gallagher Command Centre v9.20 Unlocks New Data Insights And Integrations.
Gallagher Command Centre v9.20 Unlocks New Data Insights – Gallagher Security has released the latest version of its security site management software, Command Centre v9.20 with new data insights and integrations.
“Command Centre v9.20 further empowers businesses with greater control, improved efficiency, and robust cyber protection – all in one powerful platform designed to streamline operations and unlock customer value,” said Mark Junge, chief executive at Gallagher Security.
This release enables integration with Microsoft Entra ID – a cloud-based identity and access management system that provides seamless synchronisation of cardholders across systems, centralised cardholder and access management, and improved data integrity.
The introduction of shift items into ‘Time Reporting’ and ‘Regulated Zones’ allows sites to run reports across cardholders working differing shift patterns and raise alarms for unexpected attendance. This data can then be used to assist with contractor billing reconciliation, safety, compliance, and fatigue management.
Upgrading to Salto’s native interface enhances cybersecurity and user functionality and fortifies the Salto integration within Command Centre – enabling extended functionality into the future.
“Command Centre v9.20 provides automatic configuration with Gallagher Security’s new Controller C7000 hardware platform, which includes the recent addition of the C7000 Enhanced,” Junge said.
“Building on the cyber advancements and features of the Controller 7000 Standard, the Controller 7000 Enhanced offers increased reliability, redundancy, and resilience for customers that want to future-proof their network“.
“Our product vision is simple: to deliver a complete site management solution that flows from powerful software to next-generation hardware to deliver maximum customer value.”

Perimeter Systems Showing Sintela At SAGE In Canberra, November 21.
Perimeter Systems Showing Sintela At SAGE – Perimeter Systems Australia will be bringing the latest Sintela ONYX fibre-optic perimeter protection technology to SAGE at the Realm Hotel in Canberra November 21.
A standout in the range is Sintela’s ONYX system, which transforms existing telecommunications fibre-optic cables into a customisable vibration detection and ranging system. The system leverages quantitative data to accurately classify and geolocate moving objects, ensuring precise security coverage.
Sintela systems feature multiple units capable of covering distances from 10km up to 130km. These units are adaptable, with fibre deployment options that include in-ground, on-fence, or wall-mounted configurations. A single unit can support multiple fibre deployments, such as a combination of buried and fence-mounted sensors, offering both fixed and virtual fence capabilities.
“Ease of installation is a key advantage of the ONYX system”
“Ease of installation is a key advantage of the ONYX system,” said Perimeter System’s Charlie Michael.“Its automated installation process simplifies setup, commissioning, and testing, allowing for a seamless implementation. Moreover, all sensing parameters, such as pulse width and sample rate, are software-defined, enabling quick adjustments to optimise performance for any specific deployment“.
“The ONYX system also boasts a modern, user-friendly interface accessible via any web browser over a secure connection, thanks to its integrated web server. This provides full remote access to all functions, including engineering setup, diagnostics, data visualisation, processing, and alert notifications. In addition to its high performance, the ONYX system is an open platform, allowing customers the flexibility to operate their own software on the hardware if desired.”

Central-West Orana REZ Site Security Requires Monitoring Of CCTV, Alarms, Patrols, Response.
Central-West Orana REZ Site Security – NSW’s massive Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone project has gone to tender seeking services, including site security.
The scope of works for site security includes the provision of security personnel, systems, and monitoring to safeguard the Merotherie Village, energy hubs, and associated facilities. The subcontractor will supply trained security guards to patrol key areas, control access, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and ensure the safety of equipment and personnel.
This is an enormous project that will cover many sites across a significant area and generate and transmit 4.5GW of renewable energy from wind and solar arrays – that’s enough to power 4.5 million homes, making Central-West Orana REZ a power generation game changer.
The Central-West Orana REZ will be serviced by new transmission network infrastructure, including high-capacity transmission lines and energy hubs, which will transfer power generated by solar and wind farms to electricity consumers. This infrastructure is critical for the successful operation of the REZ.
EnergyCo is leading the development of the REZ transmission network infrastructure and has selected ACE Energy as the first ranked proponent as Network Operator for the Central-West Orana REZ. ACE Energy is sponsored by Acciona, Cobra and Endeavour Energy.
As network operator, ACE Energy will be responsible for designing, financing, building, operating and maintaining the network infrastructure for the clean energy zone. The infrastructure will include energy hubs and new high-capacity transmission lines.
Relevant work packages at this early stage of the project include but are not limited to site security, permanent fencing and gates.
There are slightly confusing dates on this one – the longest date range suggests its December 2 but the shortest suggests a full scope EOI is due today – there’s more information here and more SEN news here.

Jack Fuse Waterproof ARK For ATMOD – ARK is an ATMOD ruggedisation kit that adds permanent weather resistance, as well as increasing the strength of Jack Fuse ATMOD terminations.
According to Jack Fuse’s Ken McKeon, an ARK pack can protect 8 ATMOD terminations and is suitable for figure 8, 4-core and 6-core security cables. The pack includes tough polyolefin tubing lined with adhesive, 8 large tubes to cover the ATMOD and security cable and 16 small tubes to seal smaller conductors.
To install, you Place the protective tubes over the cables/conductors, terminate the ATMOD as normal then slide the tubes over the ATMOD and conductors to create a single sealed tube. You then apply heat with a heat gun or other suitable heat source taking care not to burn the tubing.
ATMOD quick connect EOL resistors eliminates common termination faults and cut installation costs. ATMOD combines a robust pre-made EOL resistor network with secure push-in connectors.
EOL circuit installation becomes as simple as stripping the alarm cable and pushing it securely into the ATMOD connectors and it takes far less time than building traditional resistor circuits.

Triton Sensors Add Mobile Phone Detection To Triton Pro And Triton Ultra Smart Sensors.
Triton Sensors Add Mobile Phone Detection – Triton Sensors, distributed locally by Wesco Anixter, has added mobile phone detection to its smart sensor range.
Triton’s mobile phone detection functionality is designed to help schools and universities enforce mobile phone restrictions in classrooms or study areas. A mobile phone entering the proximity of a Triton Pro or Triton Ultra smart sensor triggers an alert in Triton Sync software, or in VMS or SMS solutions with integrations.
Implementing the functionality is easy, too. Triton’s mobile phone detection feature is available as a free firmware update for Triton Pro and Triton Ultra.
Triton’s PRO sensor detects and deters the use of smoke-based drugs such as vapes, dab pens, and other dangerous substances. It also has keyword and loud noise detection technology, enabling safe and secure monitoring of areas where cameras are prohibited.
Meanwhile, Triton Ultra sensor has vape and THC detection, ‘help’ emergency keyword detection, aggression detection, loitering detection, vandalism detection, tamper alerts and alarm and comes with a 10-year warranty.
Triton Pro and Triton Ultra are PoE and connect to Triton Sync, Triton’s cloud portal and dashboard, which enables notifications via email, text message and/or push notifications.
Integrations are also available with 15 leading video management and access control systems, including Axis, Hanwha, Hikvision and Inner Range.
You can learn more about Triton vape detection and school safety sensors here, contact Anixter Wesco (formerly CSD) here, download Inner Range’s Integriti integration manual here, or read more SEN news here.
