Aiphone IXG-2C7 IP Video Tenant Station – Aiphone’s IXG-2C7 is an IP-based video tenant station designed for use with the IXG Series multi-tenant intercom system.
The IXG-2C7 features a 7-inch LCD touchscreen, providing clear visual and audio communication between tenants and entry points such as entrance stations, individual door stations, or guard stations. Up to 8 units can be installed per tenant.
The station supports hands-free, full-duplex audio communication using G.711 (µ-law, A-law) audio codecs and streams high-quality video using H.264 and MJPEG codecs at a screen resolution of 800 x 400 pixels.
Calls can be answered directly from the touchscreen interface, which allows tenants to activate door releases, request elevators, call guards, and communicate with other IXG-2C7 stations within the same tenant or collectively call associated mobile apps.
The IXG-2C7 is powered via PoE (IEEE 802.3af), drawing 1.9W in standby and up to 5.9W during active use. It operates within a temperature range of 0C to 40C and measures 5-13/16 inches high, 8-15/16 inches wide, and 1-inch deep. The unit can store call history internally, with storage capacity expandable via an onboard microSD card slot.
For secure communications, the IXG-2C7 supports network protocols including IPv4/v6, SIP, HTTP, HTTPS, RTSP, RTP/RTCP, IGMP, SMTP, SFTP, DHCP, NTP, DNS, and TLS encryption (versions 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2). The device also holds UL certification.
The IXG-2C7 offers additional functionality such as programmable inputs and outputs, elevator call integration, monitoring of connected door stations, and a ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode for tenant privacy.
