New Bosch DINION 7100s Box Camera Range – Bosch has released the DINION 7100s series, a new range of enclosure-ready box cameras designed for high-demand applications including transport, utilities, tunnels and critical infrastructure.
The DINION 7100s is built on Bosch’s new CPP16 platform, delivering increased processing capability for imaging, analytics and cybersecurity. The camera combines AI-enhanced imaging with edge-based analytics, allowing detection, classification and filtering of events directly on the device.
Designed for flexible deployment, the camera supports a wide range of housings, including weatherproof, tunnel and explosion-proof enclosures. This allows a single camera platform to be standardised across varied environments, simplifying system design and maintenance.
Imaging performance is supported by Starlight X low-light technology and HDR X, enabling consistent detail in challenging lighting and high-contrast scenes. Electronic image stabilisation is included to maintain image quality in environments subject to vibration.
The camera ships with IVA Pro analytics, supporting applications such as perimeter protection, traffic monitoring and tunnel safety, with a focus on reducing false alarms and improving detection accuracy in complex scenes.
Cybersecurity is a core element of the platform, with secure element hardware and compliance with standards including FIPS 140-3 Level 3 and IEC 62443, supporting deployment in regulated environments.
