Vesta Outdoor PIR Camera – Vesta’s VST-892EX-F1 outdoor PIR camera is designed to deliver video verification of alarm events with its field of view.
The VST-892EX is a new generation outdoor passive infrared sensor camera that features 10-metre detection range, and an anti-masking function, which allows for detection of any attempts to blind the detector by placing objects in its field of view.
With an installation height of 2.3 meters above the ground, the higher mounting height can better suit the user’s needs. The camera also supports remote control of double knock alert system and remote adjustment of sensitivity range.
VST-892EX has an antenna designed with maximized receiver sensitivity to ensure precise transmission and reception of signals, resulting in enhanced penetration rate, allowing users and installers to flexibly set up on large or complicated premises.
Other features include a UV-resistant housing, waterproofing to IPX6 standard, making the VST-892EX ideal for backyards outdoor corridors and more. The combination of colour VGA/QVGA images ensures that details vital to visual alarm verification are quickly passed on to users.
There are 3 alarm image processing options, including a colour VGA (640 x 480 pixels) alarm image, 3 colour QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) alarm images and 6 colour QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) alarm images, and the sensor delivers 1 image on request.
The VST-892EX has night illumination capability in warm white of up to 5 metres, with infrared coverage reaching 7 metres – these are good numbers for a PIR camera.
