VSP Eyefi Cloud Connect V2 Launched.
VSP Eyefi Cloud Connect V2 – Eyefi Cloud Connect V2 has now officially launched and VSP is offering a 6-month free trial.
Eyefi Cloud Connect is an end-to-end colour video surveillance solution that gives scalability and remote access, allowing users to streamline their surveillance and enhance their security posture easily.
Cloud Connect V2 brings additional capabilities, including multi-site support. Previously achieved using ‘groups’, customers now have genuine multi-site support, allowing multiple geographic/address locations and using a map-based GUI.
Another neat enhancement is granular user permissions. Administrators can now define user profiles to a greater level of granularity, giving users access to specific groups or locations, or limiting access to functionalities.
Users can also now upload their own site-specific maps and overlay camera positions and field of view orientation, and Cloud Connect V2 now also supports geographical site map-based navigation, in addition to camera list views.
The upgraded system now supports Axis single, dual and quad sensor cameras, and 360 degreww cameras, while users can also now create a live view dashboard using cameras within ‘groups’.
VSP Eyefi Cloud Connect V2 Launched
An updated timeline and search features within the recordings page, allows for quick search and viewing of previous recordings, while the app has been optimised and updated for mobile web clients.
Various enhancements have also been made to the handling of video files, storage, and handling of video, which has significantly improved page and video load times. Page refresh and caching has been improved.
