ICT Bringing Unified Security Platform To SecTech Roadshow!
ICT Bringing Unified Security Platform To SecTech – ICT is using SecTech Roadshow to show a unified approach to electronic security built around its Protege GX platform, supported by new web and mobile interfaces and updated reader hardware.
At the centre of the stand is Protege GX, which ICT positions as a full security platform rather than a standalone access control system. GX unifies multiple functions into a single system, while supporting more than 50 integrations spanning video management, biometrics, wireless locks, lifts, intercoms and identity systems. The platform is designed to sit over existing infrastructure, avoiding the need for wholesale replacement of installed systems. Licensing is structured around door counts, giving predictable scaling without ongoing subscription variation.
A key element of ICT’s SecTech exhibit will be the Protege GX Web App, which provides browser-based access to the platform. The interface is designed for multi-site environments, giving operators access to system functions from any device without reliance on thick client software. The aim is to simplify day-to-day operation and reduce the chance of operator error in complex environments.

ICT is also showing its Protege Access+ mobile application, which combines mobile credentials with remote system management. The app allows users to monitor and control sites from a smartphone, with a dashboard providing quick access to system status and functions. Custom branding is supported, and the platform is available across iOS and Android.

On the hardware side, ICT is presenting its TSL reader range, including Mini, Standard and Extra formats, with optional keypads and black or white finishes. The readers support DESFire credentials as well as Bluetooth and NFC, with RS-485 connectivity secured using AES-256 encryption. Configurable LED indicators provide real-time visual feedback in multiple colours, while an IP65 rating supports both indoor and outdoor deployments – these readers are tough and handsome.
