BST Wins Security For $A365.8 million Mount Barker Hospital Redevelopment In South Australia.
BST Wins Security For $A365.8 million Mount Barker Hospital – BST Australia has been awarded the security package for the new $365.8 million Mount Barker Hospital development, working alongside Built and Nilsen Group on the major South Australian project.
“Excited to share we’ve been awarded the Mount Barker Hospital project, teaming up with Built and Nilsen Group,” said BST’s David Rasmussen.
“The solution will utilise Inner Range Australia & New Zealand Integriti, Milestone Systems, i-PRO and Aiphone and we’re looking forward to contributing to a vital piece of healthcare infrastructure for the community and delivering a high-quality outcome with a great team.”
The Mount Barker Hospital redevelopment will take place on the existing site and is designed to expand healthcare capacity for the growing Adelaide Hills region. On completion, the facility will increase bed numbers from 34 to 102 and extend specialist services across maternity, paediatric, neonatal, medical, surgical and sub-acute care, including palliative care.
The project also includes new operating theatres, a post-surgery recovery suite, expanded consulting spaces supporting community and allied health services, Aboriginal health and outpatient services, an onsite pharmacy, and a 12-bed acute mental health unit.
The project is another strong win for Edwardstown-based BST Australia, which provides electronic security integration services across commercial, industrial, and government environments.
The company’s client base includes the University of Adelaide, Flinders University and TAFE SA, along with industrial and government customers including OneSteel, Bemax Mining, Siemens, the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure, CSIRO, the Forensic Science Centre and Haigh’s Chocolates.
