Lion Head Enmore Plus Smart Lock – LION Head Locks has released the Enmore Plus digital smart lock, adding independently assessed fire resistance to a platform supporting fingerprint, PIN, RFID, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and mechanical key access.
Fire resistance is a rare feature for a digital smart lock, making the Enmore ideal for applications where electronic locking hardware needs to be installed on a compliant fire door assembly. According to Lion Head Locks, the Enmore Plus has been independently tested and assessed for eCore/fire core door sets when installed with its supplied 60/70mm adjustable latch.
The Enmore Plus retains the electronic access functionality of the original Enmore while providing a lock option intended for applications where maintaining the performance of the fire door assembly is required. Both matte black and satin silver versions have been assessed under the same fire rating.
Access methods include fingerprint, PIN code, RFID card or fob, Bluetooth and the Lion Head Lock Control app, together with a manual track-style key override for emergency access.
The lock incorporates built-in Wi-Fi, allowing remote access and management without requiring an additional Wi-Fi gateway. It uses TTLock BLE and TTLock Wi-Fi/BLE wireless protocols and can be programmed through the Lion Head Lock Control app.

User capacity is up to 200 fingerprints, 150 PIN codes and 200 RFID cards, allowing the Enmore Plus to support applications requiring multiple authorised users and credential types.
The lock body is manufactured from aluminium alloy and measures 300 x 67mm, with listed dimensions varying slightly between the supplied specifications at 20-22mm deep and a projection of 70mm. It is suitable for wooden and metal doors from 35-65mm thick.
The exterior assembly is rated IP55 and operating temperature is -25C to 60C. Power is provided by 4 AA alkaline batteries, with battery life of up to 12 months depending on usage. A USB-C connection provides backup power if the internal batteries are depleted.
The Enmore Plus is supplied with Lion Head’s LHL-SW-MORTICE-6068 heavy-duty mortice lock and is also compatible with a range of Lion Head locking hardware, including fixed and adjustable tubular latches, the LHL-MF-MORTICE and LHL-OZ-MORTICE.
According to Lion Head Locks, installation on a fire door requires the Enmore Plus to be paired with the appropriate compatible fire-rated hardware to maintain the compliant fire door assembly.
