FS Solutions Wins $A4.7m Canberra Health Services Contract – Canberra Health Services has awarded a $4.7 million contract for ongoing electronic security maintenance services to FS Solutions (ACT).
The contract supports current and future operational requirements across the Canberra Health Services estate, with the successful supplier responsible for maintaining the organisation’s electronic security systems.
The tender called for a suitably experienced supplier capable of providing continued support as CHS’s operational requirements change and the scope of works covers ongoing electronic security maintenance, including servicing, repairs, programming and fault triage.
Canberra Health Services operates the ACT’s public hospital and health services, with Canberra Hospital and North Canberra Hospital forming the major hospital campuses. Its services extend across hospital, community and specialised health settings.
The Canberra Hospital campus is large and incorporates numerous clinical, research, administration and support buildings, including the Canberra Region Cancer Centre, Women and Children’s services, emergency and diagnostic facilities and mental health services.
The scale and operational nature of the health service means electronic security maintenance extends beyond conventional commercial premises, with access and security systems supporting hospitals and other facilities that operate continuously and accommodate patients, staff, visitors and contractors.
