Which State Has the Slowest Security Licensing In Australia?

Which State Has the Slowest Security Licensing – Which Australian state has the slowest security licensing in Australia, according to SEN readers?

SEN’s latest poll asked readers, especially readers with security operations in multiple states, which Australian state was slowest to process personal or company security licenses and one state stood out as being worst of all – Victoria.

Not only was Victoria nominated by readers as having the slowest security licensing processing in Australia, the state’s security licensing process scored more than half of all votes.

From best to worst – feel free to add your vote here and we’ll update the numbers in real time – NT was best with 2.25 per of the vote, South Australia was next best with 3.37 per cent of the vote, ACT had 5.62 per cent, and then came Tasmania with 5.97 per cent of votes.

Western Australia got 8.99 per cent of votes, Queensland received 11.24 per cent of the votes, while NSW also received 11.24 per cent – that’s pretty good going by NSW SLED when you consider NSW’s large population size.

Finally, we come to Victoria, which received a massive 51.69 per cent of all votes for the state with the slowest security licensing processing. This is especially damning when you consider the number of votes from security businesses with national representation.

We’re not sure what’s going on with security licensing in Victoria, but it sounds like serious underinvestment in staff to me.

You can add your vote to our poll here and we’ll keep tweaking the results – you can read more about security licensing here or find more SEN news here.
